Meet your Celebrant

Thank you for considering me to be your Celebrant and allowing me to conduct your Marriage. It is truly an honour to work with couples on one of the most important days of their lives. Before I get to know you both, here is a little bit about me and my background.

I have lived in the Nillumbik Shire with my husband and family for more than 30 years, currently living in Hurstbridge on a small acreage with my husband David.
I have worked in the Education Sector since the early 1980’s, supporting young people with a range of issues from: homelessness, drug & alcohol abuse, disengagement from education, trauma, fire recovery & complex mental health issues etc.

I took 10 years off to stay at home with our 3 children until they were all at school. I have two daughters, one son and now a granddaughter.

Personally, I enjoy cooking, preserving and catching up with my family and friends. I find Biographies and Autobiographies my favourite types of books and most of all, I love to travel.

I plan to work with you both and make this journey enjoyable, personable and stress-free to ensure that your Marriage Ceremony is as you imagine it to be.
